Grandma Chism

Grandma Chism came for a week and we loved it

It's so nice to have another adult in the house to talk to while Mike was gone all day at school 

Here are a couple pictures, Avery makes the funniest faces 

She is so full of personality  

Avery's little grin she was giving grandma, was so precious

Some of the things I Have Learned About Motherhood : 

long days and nights will little to no sleep - have you ever wanted to be a zombie, have a child

diaper explosion -  i have never had poop explode on me before, it's quite humorous

spit up - i think Avery has managed to get spit up on almost ever article of clothing i own

crying - how agonizing it is to have a crying child you can't console
breastfeeding - first 2 weeks were pure misery, now it's a success 

baby farts - seriously, hilarious!

snuggles - the best time of the day when little Avery curls up on my chest for snuggles

big open mouth smiles - right before she falls asleep and right as she is waking up she is full of smiles that melt my heart

foot massages - one of Avery's favorite things, puts her in total relaxation mode 

baby smells - the fresh sent of baby after a bath

Motherhood, pure joy!

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE dolphins 

While grandma came we took her on a whale tour

Not only did we see amazing whales we saw over 1000 dolphins 

Seriously over a 1000! 

There is absolutely no exaggeration, over 1000!

Have you ever seen a dolphin stampede? 

Well, we captured it all on video which will come soon....  

Avery was a little gem the entire time and loved the boat

I am pretty sure she is obsessed with the ocean just as much as her mom and dad

Grandma bought Avery her 1st Easter dress so of course we needed pictures
