HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!

Well this was the best year ever! It flew by so quick and we have changed so much. We have made so many good memories.

School is almost over for the semester and Nichole is GRADUATING!!! December is definitely the best month, my birthday, anniversary, Christmas, and New Year.

Last night we had a good night and so we had to get some pictures. Enjoy!

The Best Month EVER!!!

Mikey's 25 Birthday- yeah 25 (now were the same age lol I am 3 months older than him;)

1st Year Anniversary- has it really almost been a year? Married life rocks!

Graduation- Yahoooo!!!! I am going to be graduated from college, what a dream!

Christmas- I love everthing about Chritsmas, the bright twinkling lights, the smell of Christmas baking, blasting Christmas music in the mornings, remembering the good old days when you actually believed in Santa claus :)

I LOVE THANKSGIVING!!!

It was a great Thanksgiving day. I little different then normal because it was spent on beaches with lots of sun compared to cold Utah. We went beach hopping at North Shore then came home and cooked up the food and had i huge dinner. After the dinner we watch School of Rock. "Because you're not hard core, unless you live hardcore!" What a great movie.

Photography and Cakes

Ok, I am sure by now everyone knows that I am graduating in like a month. Upon graduating I have been praying about going to graduate school (Harvard is only 15 min away from one of Mikes optometry schools, and Purdue University is only 45 min away from another one). I love education and I would love to go to grad school. We have seriously prayed and prayed about what to do. About two weeks ago I got the impression (and so did Mike which was comforting) that I was not supposed to go to grad school and that I needed to support Mike while in medical school and raise our family.

My mind went on 100% crazy nuts overload, "what stay home!" "I think i'll go clinically crazy!" "what the heck am I supposed to do all day?"Then my mind started racing through ideas of things I could do while at home. As I prayed for the Lord to help me see and understand his plan three of my most favorite things popped into my head; baking, decorating, and photography. What a perfect idea for me :) I have now started a custom cake and photography business with my hubby (we are still working on the website, so for now we will post some pictures on here).

My memories of my previous cake making days (I used to make and decorate all of the cakes at Coldstone creamery in Cottonwood) get me super excited to broaden my skills into wedding cakes. Mike and I have also finished an amazing photography class together which has given us numerous new insights and new techniques in the photography industry. We also have an awesome new camera that Mikes parents bough us for a super early Christmas present (thanks Kathy and Tom you guys rock!)

You know those moments when you feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of gratitude you have for your spouse? Well, oh my gosh, I have been having so many of those enormous moments latly. Mikey has been the best support and example this past semester. He is so diligent and focused with his studying that his diligence is rubbing off on me (Yeah, i am just a little trunky it being my last semester and all). He supports me with anything I wanna do: trust me is a little crazy sometimes. He is seriously AMAZING! I have been blessed with the perfect husband for me.

It was a great night! Ate lots of sugar and played games all night. We ended the night with a very scary movie... well not so scary we watched The Proposal. Nichole was happy though because she doesnt like scary movies. Thanks Ky and Spence for the great party!
