Where does the time go???

Every time I sit down at the computer I plan on updating my blog but as you can tell that goal has somehow slipped through my fingers every time. We have a million pictures to add from Christmas, New Years, and random adventures. It's pretty much so over whelming that I have just not done anything. On top of the mountain of pictures I have been extremely busy with cakes. Who knew Laie HI would be a great location to set up shop? Last night I was up till 1:30 a.m. making a cake to feed 100 (lesson learned don't try a new recipe for a large cake). I made three layers and every layer was a different flavor. I decided I was going to try out this new vanilla cake recipe I have for two 10" round cakes, what a flop! Both of them turned into big German Pancake thingies! So at midnight I threw all that cake away and started over. Mikey was awesome and stayed up with me while I was in the middle of this Cake-o-Rama. Happy to say the next cakes turned out beautiful and I got the cakes finished :)

Other news...Mikey is super busy this semester with classes and preparation for the OAT (entrance test for medical school). Our little Hulk (our cactus) is doing great! Life is Good!!!
