Only in Hawaii
I have lived and been many places around the world but Hawaii is a place like no other. Not only does it have beautiful islands but the people that live here are just as beautiful.
Let me explain:
Mike and I went and played at our favorite local beach, Hukilau, all day Saturday. After an awesome day of body surfing and blow up bed surfing we were exhausted, burnt, and ready to head home to grab some grub.
We walked over to our bikes & starting to unlock them when two guys, who were sitting close by, started up a conversation. (#1 favorite thing about Hawaii, everyone is friendly and talkative)
Seriously about 2 seconds later one of the guys sisters came over and invited us to eat. So, haole (aka, white folks) Mike & I go and join this Polynesian family reunion. It was awesome!
Can you imagine inviting two total strangers to share in on your family reunion and dinner?
Seriously only in Hawaii!
I love how they take care and love others. Why can't we all see each other as brothers and sisters?
